Ad Hoc of the Secretary-General

The Secretary-General's Ad Hoc Committee is a bit different from the rest of NDMUNC's lineup: the topic stays under wraps until committee kicks off. It's built to handle whatever situation calls for a body that doesn't already exist, put together on short notice to deal with something specific and unusual. Don't expect the normal country assignments or predictable blocs walking in; who's in the room and what they're arguing over will make sense once things get going. Bring good instincts instead: negotiation, quick thinking, and the ability to build a position without a background guide to lean on. Since there's nothing to prep for in the usual sense, just stay reasonably plugged into what's going on in the world, and the rest will click into place once committee starts.
